One of the worst lawyers I've ever delt with. The first thing he ever asks is about the money; not how much he is going to help me with my divorce case, but how much money I am worth. He had a target amount for $100,000 in the beginning, BEFORE he even started the case. He has done absolutely nothing for me and he has dragged the case on for five years. Demetrios creates problems and puts families in shambles. He gets his way by saying that he will "withdrawl out of the case." He is not a good lawyer, and is money hungry. Before finding a lawyer, make sure you look at reviews because this lawyer is definitely a scam. For those who dont belive me, look up case number 2021D1021 Will County.

The staff at Dalamares family law was attentive and responsive to all my needs Mr. Dalmares is direct and a straight shooter. Which to me is a great quality to have in law. They were all so kind during a really unfortunate situation. Thank you so very much and cannot recommend them enough!

I did not retain this attorney personally; however, he represented both of my children’s fathers in separate custody matters, which gave me significant exposure to his professional conduct. Throughout the proceedings, I found his courtroom demeanor to be unnecessarily aggressive and unprofessional. On multiple occasions, he spoke to me in a hostile manner, including calling me names within the courthouse. He also interrupted private conversations I was having with my own attorney in designated meeting rooms, which I found inappropriate and intimidating. I firmly believe that an attorney can advocate strongly for their client without resorting to bullying, disrespect, or hostile behavior toward the opposing party. Unfortunately, that balance was not demonstrated here. His conduct appeared to create tension rather than productive legal discourse, and I personally witnessed him being reprimanded by multiple judges for his behavior during proceedings. Ultimately, he withdrew from the case, which I was relieved by. I cannot speak to his effectiveness in achieving results for my children’s fathers, as I did not observe any notable outcomes attributable to his involvement. Based solely on his courtroom demeanor, professionalism, and interactions during these cases, I would not recommend this attorney. In my opinion, professionalism and respect are critical qualities in custody matters, and those qualities were lacking in this experience.
