If I could give negative stars I would. I was matched with John Carlin through legalease. I was told by his office staff to email him about my case and he would reach out to me. We were emailing back and forth (I’d rather have spoken on the phone or met in person). He finally asks me to call him the next Monday. When I called him he had no idea who I was or what my case was about. He tells me to email him and he’ll look into it. I said we have been emailing and he says he knows just send him the email again and he’ll get back to me. I was pretty annoyed but I said ok and then sent him the emails. He respondsd with “Thank you; I’ll be working on this.” He also kept ignoring previous questions I asked. Well I hadn’t heard from him for 18 days! Highly unprofessional. So I reached out and asked when I should hear back and that I’d like to proceed etc. He asked me to call him again on Monday. I said ok. We agreed on a time 12:30. He gave me his number and said to call the . Well when I called he was rude, he cut me off, he said he wasn’t even prepared for the call and then was claiming he didn’t know how we could serve who we needed to and I told him what a past lawyer said and he goes well yea that’s true but… I don’t even know and was rambling and I said do you even have time for this and he goes I honestly I don’t. I don’t have time for this I’m not even prepared. I said okay well I wish you would have said something before that’s very unprofessional and he goes yea well I just don’t have time etc.x I said okay well I’ll find a different lawyer thanks and hung up. Very very rude and unprofessional.
