Customer reviews
Toured a place and they offered money off my first months rent if I leave a good review. I was already hesitant about this company from all the bad reviews of tenants who have moved out and this was a massive red flag. And you can tell the good reviews all happened around the same time out of nowhere. This made me realize the good reviews are from people who have never lived there or currently lived there and never went through a move out process and left a review during this “special”. Do not trust them, trust the bad reviews. Something felt very off with my tour and the apartments were also so cheaply made with extremely loud neighbors and surroundings. Don’t get fooled.
I would strongly recommend thinking twice before renting from MAXX PM. We recently moved out and were shocked to have all but $300 of our security deposit withheld for repairs and cleaning. The frustrating part is that many of the things they charged us for were already dirty, damaged, or broken when we moved in. We had documentation and photos from before we moved in showing the condition of the apartment, but MAXX PM essentially disregarded it. The parking situation was another major issue. The apartment was advertised as having 3 parking spaces, which was a significant selling point for the three of us when deciding to rent. We had screenshots and pictures from multiple listings showing that three spaces were advertised. After moving in, we were told that the apartment did not actually include a third space. Despite having documentation of what was advertised, they refused to provide the third space. We were left having to pay an additional $120 per month for another parking spot that was a decent walk from the apartment. Overall, dealing with MAXX PM was frustrating from start to finish. The lack of accountability, disregard for documentation, and the way issues were handled made the entire rental experience extremely disappointing. I would not recommend MAXX PM and would encourage prospective renters to carefully document everything, save screenshots of the listings, and get every promise in writing before signing a lease (not that it will matter anyways).
I don’t know where to start but here I go. First I use to rent from Maxx. My deposit was 3000 I gave all the proper notices for moving out. Took a month of me cleaning and painting. They only gave me 1500 of my deposit back. I even bought new toilet seats. They will not give u paint codes but expect you to paint. Second my mom rents from maxx. she was on her way to pay her rent yesterday as they only give u til the 3rd before u give a ridiculous late fee. she got in a really bad car accident and her truck was totaled. I picked her up this morning to go pay rent we asked Nicely for her late fee to be waved. The lady was very rude and unprofessional. They gave my mom $157 late fee also taped a three day eviction on her door and charged her an additional 50$ For delivering that three day eviction. The arrogant entitled lady slapped my mom‘s rent check on the counter and refused to take it until she paid the late fee and her rent in full together. My mom has rented from them for 5 years and has never been late. My mom’s dog passes away she told them so she doesn’t have to pay for her dog monthly anymore. They want her to pay 175$ to prove her dog died. I highly recommend renting from a different property management company there r plenty to choose from. As they are very unprofessional and will take you for every penny, you have.. thanks for taking the time to read my honest review
They are basically scamming me and my roommates out of our whole deposit plus an extra 800$ for things that were already ruined before we got in there. Not happy. *in reply to MAXXPM* thank you but we have already been in contact and given our proof but it seemed you were willing to turn a blind eye to make some money.
DO NOT RENT from these people thay trying to screw over my family for crap that was already broken prior to moving in and we notified management that stuff was broken from tenants before and thay was aware of this
